Algrano runs the infrastructure for the global coffee trade between coffee producers and roasters. Producers sell their coffee at their price directly to roasters, and roasters get full visibility and control on their supply chain.

By cutting out intermediaries, producers earn more for their coffee, but there’s also more: The share of certified coffee’s is 3x the industry average, and thanks to consolidated shipments to multiple roasters, deadfreight in shipping containers is minimized – leading to lower footprints across both dimensions.

Thanks to consolidated shipments, even small roasters can ship their coffee without shipping half-empty containers, reducing deadfreight and thereby emissions.

How do you manage to exist on the market?

Algrano’s ultimate growth driver is its underlying technology, digitizing the supply chain in an industry that’s still mostly run on Excel, PDFs and phone calls. Algrano is profitable and financially sustainable.
