Kugler Bimetal uses an innovative process to recycle bronze and convert bronze shavings into eco-briquettes. The components withstand extreme operating conditions and are therefore used in industries such as aviation, energy, hydraulics and transportation.
How would you describe your solution in a few words?
Our process begins with precision machining, meticulously collecting bronze shavings, distinguishing them from steel. These bronze remnants are then compressed into briquettes, minimizing waste and fostering sustainability. We sell these eco-briquettes to an external partner who, in turn, provides us with recycled bronze, completing a circular model of resource utilization.
Through this environmentally conscious approach, we not only reduce our ecological footprint but also contribute to a greener future for metal production.

Parts have been developed to meet the most demanding applications where extreme operating conditions are encountered: severe mechanical stresses, high speeds, high accuracy and high temperatures.

How do you manage to exist on the market?
The recycling process of bronze is completely internal from the beginning to the end of the process. That’s the reason why we could consider this process fully internal. More globally, Kugler Bimetal still exist on the worldwide market due to our business which is very dedicated to bronze foundry which is not common. Moreover, we do hand casting which is another very unusual process. That being said, some particular products for aeronautic, hard industries or renewable energies needs this kind of process.
