Lightweighting is one of the key challenges for the mobility of the future.
The patented powerRibs™ is a reinforcement grid made in natural fibres, creating a 3D structure on the b-side of a thin-walled shell element – maximizing stiffness at minimal weight. It enables up to 50% weight reduction and 80% plastic reduction in automotive interior panels – improved performance, safety, CO2 footprint, cost neutral and efficient in production.
Collaborations include the European Space Agency and 12 development projects for leading global automotive OEMs incl. Polestar, have 6 patents and won JEC Innovation Award.
