How do you describe your solution?

wear2wear is an innovative industry partnership for sustainable clothing. Competent partners in Europe have joined forces and cover the entire recycling cycle. It starts with textile fibres from used, recycled garments. These are transformed back into functional textiles and clothing in Europe.

The overall goal is to use resources responsibly and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by avoiding waste and producing sustainably throughout the cycle. Of course, the garments can be fully recycled again at the end of their life cycle, so the raw material cycle is closed again.

Who are your customers?

Schoeller Textil AG supplies a holistic textile portfolio called Inspire for the workwear and corporate fashion sector.

What are the environmental benefits of your solution?

The production of textile clothing always means very high consumption of raw materials (energy, water, resources). These resources can be greatly minimised, thus also reducing emissions and waste, if the garments are also reused and completely recycled at the end of their life cycle.

How do you succeed in the market?

The roots of Schoeller Textil AG go back to 1868. The globally active company specialises in the sustainable development and production of innovative textiles and textile technologies which are world leaders in niche markets. For decades, Schoeller Textil has taken its responsibility towards people and the environment very seriously. Developed under the strictest conditions in Switzerland and produced fairly, the high-tech textiles and textile technologies impress with their innovative spirit and outstanding quality.
