How would you describe your solution in a few words?

Swisscanto Invest is the third largest asset manager in Switzerland with 191 billion AuM. Since 2020, we are committed to the Paris Climate Agreement with all actively managed products of traditional asset classes. We consistently integrate the 2-degree climate target and have adopted an annual CO2e reduction path that has been externally validated by our scientific sustainability advisory board (including Professor of Climate and Environmental Physics Th. Stocker). Our customers automatically participate in the climate target.

We achieve a climate-friendly orientation of the investment flows in terms of volume, which benefits the population as pension fund policyholders.

What are the environmental benefits of your solution?

Existing and future customer funds are invested in a more climate-friendly way by default. We promote a reduction in greenhouse gases. This is because companies in which we invest reduce their carbon footprint so that we remain invested.

Transparency in reporting also promotes investor awareness of environmental issues.

We increase competition among asset managers and, as a first mover, drive the entire industry to become more climate-friendly.

How do you manage to exist on the market?

We aim to make an active contribution to climate protection through our investments, while at the same time optimally managing the assets entrusted to us in view of the major structural changes ahead in terms of risks and opportunities. That is why we consistently implement climate protection in our Responsible and Sustainable product lines.
