Vögeli AG produces printed materials and packaging in Langnau in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle Certified® principle, whereby materials remain in circulation and problematic substances are consistently avoided. Production therefore takes place without any direct CO₂ emissions.
To what extent is your company a pioneer in combining entrepreneurship and sustainability?
We are convinced that business success and sustainability are not opposites – quite the contrary. As a fourth-generation family business, we think in generations rather than quarters. That is why we have consistently redesigned our business model around circularity and long-term viability. Today, we produce magazines, packaging and games according to the Cradle to Cradle Certified® principles – without direct CO₂ emissions at our production site and using specially developed materials and our own printing inks. Through PrinttheChange, we also share our know-how with other printing companies. Our goal is not only to make our own business more sustainable, but to help transform the entire printing industry.
