Instead of being generated in each building individually, the heat for an entire region is generated centrally and supplied to the customers. The production of green electricity from wood produces usable waste heat. This waste heat reaches the businesses and households in the Schwyz region in the form of hot water via a kilometre-long pipeline system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The water, which has a temperature of around 90\u00b0C, is fed into the connected properties. There, the heat is transferred to the in-house heating system in a heat exchanger. In the return pipe, the water, which has now cooled down and has a temperature of around 50\u00b0C, is returned to the energy centre, where it is heated again.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div
