How would you describe your solution in a few words?<\/span><\/h3>\n

KITRO aims to tackle the issue of food waste and low profit margins in the food & beverage (F&B) industry\u00a0by providing users with a tool to measure and mitigate food waste. The goal is to measure and monitor\u00a0food waste automatically in order to prevent food waste and optimize operational practices.<\/p>\n

Using image\u00a0processing and machine learning technologies KITRO is changing the way the food waste is managed and\u00a0perceived. With the implementation of KITRO, restaurants will be provided with a tool to reduce food waste on all levels. We can reduce the avoidable food waste in commercial kitchens by up to 60%. Additionally, this allows us to save other valuable resources that are collateral of food waste such as water, energy and land usage.
