How would you describe your solution in a few words?

Urbio is a software that helps utilities, energy consultants and real estate companies prioritize their energy projects and automate the design of efficient systems to heat, cool and electrify buildings.
Combining AI, energy data and geospatial visualizations, Urbio replaces manual trial-and-error from traditional processes, leading to 95% time savings in design and analysis tasks, better response rates and faster return on investments in multi-million-euro infrastructure investments.

Who are your customers?

Our customers are utilities, consultants, banks and real estate companies.
Notable customers include leading energy companies like Romande Energie, OIKEN, CKW, BG Ingénieurs Conseils, Intep and Groupe-E.

What are the environmental benefits of your solution?

40% of carbon emissions come from existing buildings. Urbio aims to accelerate the reduction of those emissions by prioritizing the execution of high-impact projects, and shortening planning durations drastically. These effects combined make sure emissions from the real estate sector stop contributing to climate change as fast as possible.

How do you manage to exist on the market?

The majority of energy projects are still planned by relying on spreadsheets and desktop GIS tools. At the same time, the entire real estate sector is turning simultaneously towards consultants and system vendors to decarbonize their assets, revealing the critical shortage of workforce and resources. Urbio’s presence on the market is extremely timely, as it solves those bottlenecks by helping customers focus their resources to get the strongest return on investment and outpace the industry.
