How do you describe your solution?

A paradigm shift in textiles: the world’s first textile collection with synthetic and natural fibres that are 100% biodegradable and absolutely free of toxic substances. Even every dye and additive has been newly developed to meet Cradle to Cradle Gold criteria.

Who are your customers?

Almost all manufacturers or consumers who need textiles: Apparel, home textiles, technical textiles. The OceanSafe concept can provide the solution for 80% of the approx. 900 billion dollar world market.

What are the environmental benefits of your solution?

Textiles are mostly made of polyester or natural fibres refined with toxic additives. During production, washing and disposal, these pollutants enter the water cycle and remain there for hundreds of years. Textiles are the largest source of microplastics in the oceans. Only pollutant-free textiles solve these enormous problems from the ground up.

All the washed-out microfibres in our textiles are absolutely harmless to the biological cycle. After use, our products leave behind no waste whatsoever but are taken back, fed into industrial composting and turned into nutrients for future generations.

How do you succeed in the market?

The OceanSafe concept can be produced on existing machines in the textile industry, after manageable adaptation and certification. The raw materials are only slightly more expensive after scaling up, but all the finishing processes with expensive (toxic) additives are no longer needed. Better, cheaper, no hassle with authorities, hence the already enormous response in industry and society.
