How would you describe your solution in a few words?
CleanGreens Solutions provides Greenova, the most efficient growing equipment of leafy vegetables, aromatic and medicinal herbs to farmers and processors.
Our soilless aeroponics growing system enables clean, repeatable, predictable premium quality yields significantly higher than all other growing techniques. It uses 96% less water than traditional farming and zero pesticides, nor herbicides. Nutritional content, taste, texture, and shelf-life are exceptional and stable. Absence of contaminants allows direct use of produce without cleaning.
We strive to minimize the environmental impact of the company and its products as recognized by the Solar Impulse label and B Corp certification.
Who are your customers?
Our customers are early adopters who want to produce leafy vegetables in a more modern way, including farmers, food processors, pharmaceutical and flavour industries, investors.
What are the environmental benefits of your solution?
Our system delivers higher yields with less water, less intrants, less arable land and less waste. It can produce in areas where water is scarce and/or climate is not favorable.
It shows a positive contribution in 11 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN by :
– increasing food security,
– reducing water use and waste
– minimizing the impact on land
– freeing arable land for other cultures
– eliminating the need for hazardous chemicals
– producing close to the consumption point
How do you manage to exist on the market?
Greenova is a unique patented technology that gives us a very specific position on the AgTech market as the only aeroponic solution in the world that is installed on a large scale in greenhouses. We sold 5 systems so far for an area of about 15’000 m2, 2 yet to be installed in 2023. Our customers are amazing ambassadors for us and compliment Greenova whenever asked about it.
We exhibit in trade fairs and communicate in social networks to gain in brand recognition and brand equity.
