How would you describe your solution in a few words?

Not only animals have what it takes to make fibres from plant proteins – we can do it too. Only much more efficiently. Thanks to our well-controlled production process and a deep love for our products, the resource-intensive steps of conventional meat production can be skipped without culinary losses.

By studying the physical and chemical properties and interactions of raw materials in depth, we can tailor and optimise the texture of our products using a variety of plant proteins. With the help of our sophisticated process technology, we are able to recreate the textures of fish, chicken, pork, and beef almost perfectly.

Who are your customers?

Many love the taste of meat. But no longer at any price. By creating products high in protein that consist only of clean ingredients and no additives, it has never been easier for gastronomy, retailers as well as consumers to swap out meat for a plant-based alternative.

 

 

What are the environmental benefits of your solution?

We create products that are clean, do not restrain resources of future generations nor harm our planet – and most importantly, taste amazingly. Our plant-based alternatives include 100% natural plant ingredients without additives, chemicals, GMOs, antibiotics and hormones.

 

In terms of climate footprint planted products offer large saving potentials with 74 to 85 % less CO2-eq emitted and generate water savings up to 63% compared to similar animal meat products.

 

We decidedly do not source from biodiversity rich rainforest areas. Fewer animal products, less slaughter, less animal suffering – it’s that simple.

How do you manage to exist on the market?

We are Europe’s fastest growing start-up in the plant-based space. ​
